5 UPCOMING SMARTPHONES IN INDIA

The sales of these two Samsung phones in India will begin on March 16. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus have been launched in India March 6. They will be available for sale in India from March 16, 2018.


The price of Samsung Galaxy S9 64GB variant starts from Rs 57,900. At the same time, the price of Galaxy S9 Plus starts from Rs. 64900 in the same storage capacity. The price of 256GB variants of the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus is Rs. 65900 and Rs. 72900 respectively. The phone will be available in three color options - Coral Blue, Midnight Black, and Purple.

The phones will be available through both Flipkart and offline stores.

Vivo X21


The Vivo X21 which is likely to be the successor to the Vivo X20 Plus UD. Vivo X20 Plus UD was launched last year globally. The Vivo X20 Plus UD was the first commercial smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Vivo X20 Plus UD is yet to be launched in India. The expected price of the Vivo X20 Plus UD in India is Rs. 36,990.

Much like the X20 Plus UD, the X21 can also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo X21 is set to be unveiled on March 19. The price and specifications is yet to be unveiled.


Vivo X20 Plus UD Specifications:

The Dual-SIM X20 Plus UD is has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The phone runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with Funtouch OS. The device is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and 4GB of RAM with 128GB built-in expandable storage. The X20 Plus UD smartphone has an on-screen fingerprint sensor.

On the rear, the Vivo X20 Plus UD has a 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup with an f/1.8 aperture and on the front, there is a 12MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. the phone is backed up by 3900mAh battery.


Xiaomi Redmi 5

Xiaomi is set to launch the Redmi 5 in India on March 14. Xiaomi has announced that the Redmi 5 will a Amazon exclusive phone. This is a good move from Xiaomi, as the Note 5 series is exclusive to Flipkart.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 is expected to be priced at Rs 6,999 for the 2GB RAM/16GB variant and Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB variant.


Redmi 5 specifications:

The Redmi 5 has a 5.7-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720x1440 pixels, with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Dual SIM device runs on Android Nougat OS with MIUI 9. Redmi 5 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, accompanied by 2GB/ 3GB RAM and 16GB/ 32GB of storage variants.

The Redmi 5 comes with a 12MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash and a 5MP Front camera with Beautify 3.0 capabilities. The device is backed by a 3300mAh battery. Xiaomi Redmi 5 is available in four colour variants – Gold, Light Blue, Rose Gold, and Black.
